Spiders’ class of football signees is a big one

Start with 6-foot-8, 320-pound offensive lineman Patrick Kliebert and 6-2, 190-pound defensive back Charles Mack.
The University of Richmond’s 2013 list of football signees (13) is distinguished by size. UR coach Danny Rocco wanted more of that on his roster, and also stressed flexibility of this class, as in players’ abilities to play more than one position.
Hardy Lester, a 6-5, 220-pound tight end from Wytheville, is the son of former Spider Steve Lester.
